May 19th News Recently, Clippers player Batum talked about his future plans in an interview.
Batum said: "I plan to execute the player option, which is probably my last season, and the plan is like this, yes, it's very, very likely this is my last season. As for what to do later, I don't have any ideas yet."
Batum has a $4.9 million player option next season.
This season, Batum played 78 regular season games, and averaged 17.5 minutes of playing time, scoring 4 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.1 steals. During the playoffs, Batum played 7 games, averaging 24.5 minutes per game, scoring 5.6 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2 assists, 0.9 steals and 1.7 blocks.
