James: My wife and daughter decide when to retire. Season 23 excites me

September 30th news, reports from the US media said that in the new season of media day, Lakers veteran LeBron James talked about his motivation for his 23rd season of his personal career and his retirement issues in an interview.

James said: "Partnering with Luca (Doncic) and playing a full season is the motivation for me to continue to compete in my 23rd season. Regardless of the journey this year, I will be fully engaged. I don't know when the finish line will come, but I know, it will arrive soon."

Speaking of retirement, James said: "When retiring, it would be a decision made by me, my wife and my daughter. My two sons have left the house, one of them (Bronny) is here, and the other (Bryce) is in college. So, this will be a decision made between me and my wife and daughter. I will not have a meeting with my teammates on this matter, it is not that way."
