Ray Allen was born on July 20, 1975 in Merced, California, USA. He was selected by the Timberwolves with the fifth pick in the first round in the 1996 NBA draft and was immediately traded to the Bucks. In February 2003, Thunder Allen was traded to the Seattle Supersonics (now Thunder), on June 27, 2007, and transferred to the Heat in the summer of 2012.

Ray Allen was selected into the NBA All-Star lineup for 10 times in his NBA career. He was selected into the NBA All-Series third team in 2001 and the NBA All-Series second team in 2005. Joined the American Dream Team in 2000 and won the gold medal at the Sydney Olympics. In 2001, he won the NBA All-Star 3-pointer championship. In 2008, he helped the Celtics win the NBA championship and in 2013, he helped the Heat win the NBA championship.

On November 1, 2016, Ray Allen announced his retirement. On April 1, 2018, Ray Allen was selected for the Nai Smith Basketball Celebrity Memorial. In October 2021, Ray Allen was selected as the NBA 75 superstar.

Ray Allen played 1,300 games in his career, scoring 24,505 points, averaging 18.9 points, 4.1 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.1 steals per game, shooting percentage of 45.2%, three-point shooting percentage of 40%, and free throw shooting percentage of 89.4%.

Ray Allen scored a total of 2,973 three-pointers in his career, second only to Curry (4058) and Harden (3175), ranking third in NBA history.
