Speaking of making the decision to return to Europe this summer, Misic said: "This is largely because of my future plans. Next season was my last season in the NBA, and everything was uncertain. After two trades, I realized that life in the NBA is not the life I want to continue. There is no disrespect to the NBA, it is a serious business.

"But I want stability, a foundation to rely on. A long-term contract has become my priority, and at this stage of life, it is the decisive factor. I've tried playing in the NBA. But by the end of the season, I was already thinking about going back to Europe. ”

Misic landed in the NBA in the summer of 2023 and signed a three-year, $23.5 million contract with the Thunder. In February 2024, the Thunder traded Misic to the Hornets. In February 2025, the Hornets traded him to the Suns. This summer, he was first traded back to the Hornets by the Suns, and then traded to the Bucks by the Hornets. Finally, Misic and the Bucks completed the buyout, returned to Europe, and joined Tel Aviv Hapur.
