NBA rumors: Lakers and Warriors are accused of being "obviously suitable" for the Pacers Turner

While the Lakers and Warriors are considered "unlikely", they are the best choice for the Pacers star, who has always been a big part of the team.
The Indiana Pacers are preparing for Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the New York Knicks, with the team's key player being center Miles Turner. Although Turner is about to become a free agent, which has raised concerns about his future with the Pacers, ESPN's Kevin Pelton noted that other teams are clearly suitable for the star.
While Turner is about to become an unrestricted free agent, he seems more likely to find a way to stay in Indiana, as the team desperately needs his abilities, as he shows for two consecutive years to reach the Eastern Conference Finals. However, Pelton talks about the situation with the team and Turner and how the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors are the most suitable two teams.
"The Pacers need to consider Turner's starting salary carefully," Pelton wrote. “Indiana’s salary in the free agency market will be about $20 million higher than the expected luxury tax line, as the team has 12 players signed and Turner’s salary this season is $19.9 million and he should be more paid.”
“Possible right person: Turner has long been the focus of trade rumors, and almost all teams that need a starting center are tied to him,” Pelton continued. “Signing first and then switching is complicated for both the Warriors and the Lakers, but if the Pacers and Turner can’t make a deal, these two teams are obviously suitable.”
Miles Turner plays an "incompetent" role in the Pacers
Pacers' big man Turner is one of the hottest free agents in the offseason, and there is no doubt that many teams can use his talent, especially the Lakers, who have been struggling to find a center that can play alongside Luca Doncic and LeBron James. Still, Turner's role with the Pacers is considered "indispensable."
"That's where the free agent market really falls short this year," Pelton wrote. "Turner is arguably the only quality starter who has never been selected for the All-Star, and he is 29 years old and is in the middle of his career. Turner plays an indispensable role for Indiana, a team that has made him a huge advantage as a non-restrictive free agent."
Pelton quoted an NBA scout who basically predicted that the Pacers had no choice but to keep Turner because he couldn't find a "replacer."
"From the playoff situation," a scout told ESPN. "He has consolidated his position. They just can't find his replacement."
In any case, Turner looks like a key member of the Indiana hopes to enter the NBA Finals and strive for the first championship in team history.
