Yangtze Evening News reported on October 26 (Reporter Jiang Jingyi, Correspondent Jiang Rongxuan) The Nanjing Station of the 2025 Yellow River Warriors Children’s Competition will start on November 8 at the Jiangsu Garden Expo. In the golden autumn, come to a brave challenge in the mountains and fields! With a 3-5km track and 20-26 obstacle levels, the road of courage is waiting for you to explore.

This track is mainly grassland, with gravel roads, stone roads and other road conditions. Little warriors will get more different experiences during the running process. The obstacles are set up according to the characteristics of the track and integrated into multiple obstacle groups on the basis of dispersed distribution. The little warriors need to allocate their physical strength reasonably to meet the continuous challenges of multiple levels.

The starting point for the 0.5km stage is located on the lawn on the west side of the Mirror Square. This area is open and flat, and is connected to the main venue. After completing the pre-race warm-up, the participating little warriors can easily go to the starting point for inspection. The first 500m after starting from the starting point is the grassland return stage, with less undulating terrain. A total of 5 obstacle levels are set up along the way (the obstacles are of low difficulty, mostly climbing and crawling obstacles), which will help the little warriors gradually adapt to the rhythm of the competition.

In the 0.5km-1.5km stage, after crossing Yigu Road, the track will enter the Music Square and the west side area. The stage length in this area is about 1km, and it is all grassland. The difficulty of the obstacles in this stage gradually increases, and the types of obstacles are more diverse, including climbing, handling, etc., such as Huashan Cliff, Yugong Yishan, etc.

In the 1.5km-2km stage, starting from 1.5km, the little warrior will continuously pass through multiple sections of gravel roads, which not only adds appropriate difficulty to the little warrior's running, but also brings a new experience. What needs special attention is that after passing the rope climbing obstacle, there is the first bifurcation point of the track at about 1.7km. The little warriors in the 4-6 year old group and the 7-9 year old group will continue to go straight along the track, while the little warriors in the 10-14 year old group will turn right and enter the exclusive track for the 10-14 year old age group.

In the 2km-2.4km stage, after passing the gravel stage, the track will enter a section of stone pavement with a length of about 400 meters. This section of the track is straight and has no ups and downs, so little warriors can run as fast as they can.

In the 2.4km-3km stage, the last 600m stage is mainly grassland, supplemented by a small amount of paved roads. On this track, the little warriors will face the ultimate challenge of wading obstacles such as turbulent waves and mid-stream water, as well as classic climbing obstacles such as Fengqishanlan and Mount Taishan.

It is also important to pay special attention to the fact that the second bifurcation point of the track is located about 2.5km in this stage. The little warriors of the 7-9 years old group and the 10-14 year old group will turn right from here to enter the exclusive track for the 7-14 age group. The extended stage for the 7-9 years old group is 1km long. The first half is mainly grassland, and the second half is paved road. Obstacles such as soaring into the sky, climbing step by step, walking on the cliff, and carrying sand buckets will all appear in this stage.

The 10-14-year-old extended stage is 2km long and consists of two parts: the 7-9-year-old extended track (1km) and the 10-14-year-old exclusive track (1km). The exclusive track is mainly grass, but the terrain is relatively undulating, and the obstacles are more difficult.
