June 27th, Chinese player Yang Hansen was selected with the 16th pick in the first round of the 2025 NBA Draft and joined the Trail Blazers.
Zhou Peng, an entourage member of Yang Hansen's team, revealed that Yang Hansen met Fu Paul, the boss of his agency team Klutch, the day before the draft.
Zhou Peng said: "Ritchie Paul gave Yang Hansen a reassurance, told Yang Hansen to wait steadily, and told Yang Hansen to be sure: 'You believe me. (The draft) will meet everyone's expectations, everyone has seen his performance, and (the result) may be around 20 (first round).'"
