Türkiye Men s Basketball Team announces the 12-man roster of the European Championship: Shen Jing leads Bona Osman and others are on the list

Turkish Men's Basketball Team announced the 12-person squad in the 2025 European Basketball Championship. The roster includes two active NBA players, one of which is Houston Rockets center Shin Kyung. Shin Kyung performed well last season. Not only was he selected for the NBA All-Star lineup for the first time in his career, he also delivered a double-double average (19.1 points, 10.3 rebounds). Another active NBA player is the 76ers sophomore forward Bona, who was selected with the 41st overall pick in last year's NBA draft, and will also represent Turkey this time.

Among them, Bitim, Kolkmaz, Lakin, Ottoman and Yurtsevin all have NBA experience. Ottoman has played in the NBA for 7 seasons and has played in a total of 476 regular season games; Kolkmaz also spent 7 seasons in the NBA, making 328 regular season games, but neither of them has made it to the NBA in the 2024-25 season.

The Turkish men's basketball team will go to the European Championship with good momentum. In the pre-match warm-up match, they have recently won three consecutive victories, defeating the Czech team, Lithuanian team and Montenegro team. In this European Championship, Türkiye was divided into Group A, and its opponents in the same group include Portugal, Estonia, Latvia, Serbia and Czech Republic.
