Eddie Howe: Frustrated with the current transfer job, we are not the richest team in the Premier League

July 21st News Newcastle has only introduced two players, Elanga and Codro, since the summer window of the Premier League. Head coach Eddie Howe talked about the transfer in an interview.

He said: "I certainly hope that we can complete the transfer work as soon as possible, and we did try our best, but we have not done it now. We have encountered many setbacks in chasing the target players, and they have been poached by other clubs, and I am willing to admit that. This has happened several times and the club must accept reality.

"In my opinion, a successful transfer requires players to be very eager to join your team. If our goal does not have this desire, the transfer cannot succeed. We are looking for players who are good enough and eager to join us and can make a difference, but such players are hard to come by.

"Newcastle is confident that it will continue to bring in more players to enhance the depth of the team's roster. We are clearly aware of this and are doing our best to achieve our goals. Of course, the financial situation has a huge impact and anyone who doesn't admit it is self-deception. However, I don't mean money is the most important condition for every player, because every time it's different.

"Newcastle is not the club that can spend the most money on the Premier League, because we are not the highest. We have to comply with PSR rules and have to handle club affairs very smartly. We also have to control the salary of existing players, which also affects which new players we can attract to join. ”
