The reporter wrote: "I learned that Saka has now agreed to reach a new contract with Arsenal. Now only the official documents and official announcements are left. Bukayo will stay in the team!"
The 23-year-old Saka comes from Arsenal's own youth training and was officially promoted to the first team in 2019. So far, he has contributed 69 goals and 70 assists to the Gunners in 257 games. Saka suffered a long-term injury this season, and still had 31 games, 11 goals and 14 assists in various competitions.
Saka's existing contract with Arsenal expires in the summer of 2027.
