Liverpool s left and right full-backs all leave the team this summer! Robertson is infinitely close to joining Atletico Madrid

According to Spanish media confirmation, Liverpool's 31-year-old left-back Andrew Robertson has reached a principled consensus with Atletico Madrid on the transfer. The Scottish captain believes that switching to La Liga is an ideal choice for continuing his top career - he can compete in the Champions League and maintain competitiveness in the championship. Its existing contract will expire in 2025.

The key factor that prompted Robertson to consider leaving the team was Liverpool's lineup update plan. With the 20-year-old Hungarian international Kolkitz about to join, the player foresees that his tactical role will be significantly weakened. Despite winning the Champions League and Premier League championships during his seven years at Anfield, Robertson still hopes to continue his competitive form in mainstream European leagues.

Atletico Madrid will focus on signings to strengthen the midfield and backcourt. It is reported that the club has locked in three major goals: Villarreal midfielder Baena (60 million euros in termination), Girona central defender Cardoso and Tottenham defender Christian Romero. Therefore, the budget for signing players at the left-back position is limited, and the transaction needs to be completed at a pragmatic price.

The core of transfer negotiations lies in transfer fee negotiations. Given that the player contract is only one year left, Liverpool may accept an offer of around €15 million. Atletico Madrid sports director Berta is actively promoting negotiations and striving to finalize the key signing before the pre-season training camp begins.
