It was revealed that Manchester City had agreed to sign 18-year-old Paris Saint-Germain striker Mahamadou Sangare.
Sangale turned 18 in March this year, played 46 times for the Paris Saint-Germain youth team, scored 42 goals, and played at the U19 level. He was brought to the adult team training in December but has not been on the matchday roster so far. With his contract expiry in the summer, Fabrizio Romano noted that City had reached a deal to bring Sangare to Etihad in the summer.

Sangarre has links with other Premier League teams, including Chelsea and Manchester United, but Guardiola's Manchester City will join the French youth international at the end of the season. This is not the first time Manchester City have selected young players from Paris Saint-Germain’s youth camp. Defensive midfielder Claudio Gomez transferred in 2018 as a free transfer but never made it to the senior team before being sold to Palermo in 2022.
While Manchester City are focusing on rebuilding Guardiola's first team this summer, they are also working to strengthen their youth team and plan to eventually recruit 15-year-old Caven Sullivan from Philadelphia.
For many years, Manchester City has been one of the most powerful youth training camps in English football. The U21 youth team has recently ranked No. 1 in the Premier League Division II, while Oliver Rice's U18 youth team will face Aston Villa in next week's Youth FA Cup final.
