June 23, The Mirror reported that Crystal Palace had transfer negotiations with Chelsea's 19-year-old young goalkeeper Luke Campbell.
Luke Campbell currently plays for Chelsea U21, and his contract will expire this month and will leave the team as a free agent.
Campbell, now 19, joined Chelsea at the age of nine and spent ten years there. However, Chelsea has confirmed that Campbell will leave after his contract expires at the end of this month.
Several Championship clubs, including Queen's Park Rangers, have contacted Campbell, but Crystal Palace has also held transfer negotiations.
End of last season, Campbell performed well while on loan to Henden, and he was also a member of the U18 team that won the Premier League South Championship in 2023.
Despite rumors about Meinion, Chelsea still said they have confidence in their current goalkeeper lineup, including No. 1 goalkeeper Robert Sanchez, Jorgensen and Penders.
