Naples seeks to rent Sterling, Chelsea seeks sale

Serie A powerhouse Naples is preparing to throw a "life-saving straw" to Chelsea's "frustrated" star Rahim Sterling. However, this life-saving straw comes with a condition that Chelsea is unacceptable.
Naples has reportedly turned their target to Sterling after the failed bid for Bologna winger Dan Endoye. But they only hope to bring in the former England international on loan, similar to the loan agreement reached by Arsenal and Chelsea last season.
This runs contrary to Chelsea's plan. The Blues are currently actively operating in the market, eager to sell Sterling completely to get rid of his huge wage burden of up to £325,000 a week. In addition to Naples, Juventus and Leverkusen are also paying close attention to the 30-year-old winger's updates.
Why is Chelsea eager to sell? The answer is: make room for new players.
It is reported that Chelsea is promoting two major signings at the same time. They offered Ajax about £35 million to buy 19-year-old talented defender Jorell Hato (Ajax asked for £50 million) and were confident of signing Dutch international Xavi Simmons from RB Leipzig. To free up space and budget for the two new players, which may cost more than £100 million, the sale of Sterling is an urgent task.
Naples may be a good place to go for Sterling. The club has successfully helped many former Premier League players regain their lives in recent years, such as McTominay and Gilmore, who even welcomed Manchester City legend De Bruyne this summer.
Now, the three parties are in a deadlock. Naples wants to rent, Chelsea wants to sell, and Sterling's high salary is the biggest obstacle. If you want your career back on track, Sterling, Chelsea and his next family must agree on salary.
