Telegraph: Wolves plan to renew Ait Nuri and buy out his second transfer share terms

May 7th The Telegraph reported that Wolves are planning to provide a new contract for midfielder Nouri, an estimated £50 million, and the club will soon welcome a key summer transfer window under new coach Pereira.
The Algerian international has been frequently inspected by Liverpool and Manchester City in recent seasons, but Wolves are expected to discuss improvements with him before the new season. As Manchester United target Cunha may leave the team with a £62.5 million termination clause, Wolves regard Nouri as the core of the future and are determined to retain the backbone of the lineup.
23-year-old Nuri has performed more stably this season. After Pereira took office in December last year, Nuri has been in the water in his preferred tactical system. The left-wing guard has two years left in his current contract, and Wolves' senior executives are ready to reward him with the New Testament for his progress.
Liverpool has been paying attention to the player for a long time, but their number one target in the position is Bournemouth's Kolkz, and Manchester City has also stated that they will not start buying this summer.
If Wolves finally decide to sell Nouri, a special clause is expected to be activated. When it was introduced from Angers for 10 million pounds in July 2021, the agreement included a 50% second transfer share clause, but Wolves could buy out the clause by about 9 million pounds. Wolves may directly pay Angers 9 million pounds to avoid having to share more to the opponent in the future.
