James: Sometimes you feel that you are not in the rhythm and you have to draw strength from experience and training

May 16th, today, Lakers forward James' podcast program "The Brain of the Field" aired in the sixth episode of the second season, with James and home guest Nash talking about many topics.

Speaking of control at the end of the game, James said: "We are all lucky to be in that position and be able to control the situation at the end of the game. It feels great to have that control at the end of the game, and you know if I execute this tactic, if I find space, I know how it will unfold. No matter what tactic I launch, I know very well what to do next, and that's the domino effect. It's a wonderful feeling.

"You sometimes feel something is wrong on the court, either you're not in the rhythm, or you might have a teammate on the court, he's not in the rhythm, but he's on the court, and you're thinking, 'How do I let him participate in the tactics to be the most beneficial to the other three people's performance? ’ Or the defender was harassing me the whole game, my game didn’t feel very good, but the ball was still in my hands and I still needed to play it into a round.

"Where do you draw strength? Draw from past experience, from the training you have invested before. You know that no matter what rhythm you are at, no matter what kind of game you play, you have invested 10,000 hours of training. It's not that you can score the final goal, or that you can play into the winning round. Sometimes even if you have 10,000 hours of training accumulation, you may make a fatal mistake, and there will be many situations. You may feel that I finally feel the rhythm of this shot, and my feet stood firm when I jumped, but the ball did not go. I would rather experience that feeling, for better or worse, just give me that feeling and let me try to solve it myself."
