The upcoming season will be Lowry's 20th season in the NBA. The veteran is currently a free agent and last season he played for the 76ers with a veteran's basic salary contract. In 35 games, Lowry averaged 18.8 minutes per game, scoring 3.9 points and 2.7 assists. Regarding future trends, Lowry himself said in an interview: "This team and this city deserve to be at the top, and I hope to be one of them."
Former NBA star Blake Griffin recently suggested that Lowry join his commentary team at Amazon. Lowry is still likely to join Amazon as a "player reporter", but the specific details have not been finalized yet.
