Mobley: Yao Ming failed to show all his skills in his career due to being restricted by the Rockets offensive system

July 4th, July recently, former NBA player "Old Cat" Katino Mobley talked about Yao Ming on the "All The Smoke". He said that Yao Ming has Jokic-like skills, but is limited by the Rockets' system.
Mobley fought side by side with Yao Ming from 2002 to 2004. He pointed out that the Rockets' offensive philosophy at that time was the main reason why Yao Ming failed to fully demonstrate his comprehensive skills.
"The only problem is that the coach will limit us on the offensive end, not let us play freely. He uses Pat Riley's style of controlling the ball. There are only 70 offensive opportunities per game, which makes the game ugly. If you have talented players, now you let them think. The offense should not be based on thinking, but should be smoother." Mobley said.
From 2002 to 2004, the Rockets' head coaches were Tom Janovic and Jeff Van Gundy.
