Stein: Both the Hornets and the Grizzlies are interested in Cavaliers defender Tay Jerome

June 30 According to famous reporter Stein, the Hornets and the Grizzlies are currently two teams expected to be interested in Cavaliers defender Tay Jerome.
Jerome is about to become a full free agent and he earned $2.53 million last season. Jerome is expected to leave the Cavaliers this summer, and inside the league reports that his next contract is expected to be a full, full middle class special case (about 14.1 million).
Jerome played 70 games for the Cavaliers in the regular season, averaging 12.5 points, 2.5 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.1 steals per game, shooting percentage of 51.6%, three-point shooting percentage of 43.9%, and free throw shooting percentage of 87.2%. He ranked second in the regular season sixth man.
