According to Keith Smith, founder of Spotrac, the San Antonio Spurs has signed Stanley Umude, a former free agent backcourt player, with a training camp contract containing Exhibit 10.

Umud was born in April 1999 and is 26 years old, 198cm tall and weighs 95kg. He is the undraft in the 2022 NBA Draft. Umud has played 47 times in the NBA regular season for the Detroit Pistons and the Milwaukee Bucks, with averaging 8.4 minutes per game, with averaging 3.1 points, 1.4 rebounds, 0.3 assists, 0.3 steals, and 0.4 blocks. He also had 0.4 turnovers and 1 foul. His shooting percentage was 37.8%, his three-point shooting percentage was 39.1%, and his free throw shooting percentage was 86.8%. Umud's performance in the NBA is not ideal, and he can't get more playing time and performance opportunities under this situation.

Umud played for the Bucks as a two-way contract player last season. He played 22 games in the NBA regular season, averaging only 3.9 minutes per game, averaging 0.7 points, 0.8 rebounds, 0.2 assists, 0.1 steals and 0.3 blocks, and 0.1 turnovers and 0.4 fouls. He shot 19.2%, shot 20% from three-pointers and 50% from free throws. In the NBA Development League last season, Umud played 13 times for the Bucks' subordinate team Wisconsin Deer Group, with averaging 27.9 minutes per game, averaging 17.5 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.8 blocks, and 2.4 turnovers and 1.8 fouls, with a shooting percentage of 43.3%, a three-point shooting percentage of 34.8%, and a free throw shooting percentage of 80%. Previously, Umud also represented the Bucks in the NBA Summer League. He played 5 games in the summer league, averaging 17.6 minutes per game, averaging 9 points, 2 rebounds, 0.8 assists, 1.6 steals, and 0.8 blocks, as well as 0.8 turnovers and 2.2 fouls, shooting percentage of 45.7%, shooting percentage of 3-pointers and 60% free throw percentage. Although Umud did not perform well in the NBA, his performance in some lower games is also quite eye-catching, and his maturity is actually not low. With the completion of this signing, the Spurs' roster has included 20 players. Since a team can have up to 21 players during training camp and preseason, this means that the Spurs can still sign another player. Considering that Umud got a training camp contract with Exhibit 10 clauses from the Spurs, he was cut by the Spurs before the start of the regular season, joined the Spurs' NBA Development League team Austin Spurs after the start of the regular season, and stayed with the Austin Spurs for 60 days, he could get a maximum of $85,300 from the Spurs.
