Tyron Lue explains why James, Wade and Ross ended up disintegrating with the Cavaliers

According to US sports media F/W reporter Nico Martinez, in James' last season with the Cavaliers, they made their final efforts to add Wade and Rose to the roster. Of course, the experiment ended in a complete failure, with former Cavaliers head coach Tyron Lu explaining why in the latest episode of The Shay Club.
"LeBron gave them room to do whatever they want," Lu said. "But I just think trying to figure it out, playing with each other, the spacing, shooting and all of these components play a factor. It's just not quite right. They can still play, it's just not very right when it comes to basketball. That's why it doesn't work. But if I have a little more time, I can figure it out."
James returned to the Cavaliers after four years with the Heat and won consecutive championships in 2012 and 2013. This was a major victory for the Cavaliers, instantly bringing them back to the ranks of championships. Unfortunately, by his third summer back to Cleveland (2017), the team was in decline and it was difficult to keep up with the competition. Irving has left, Love is fighting injuries, and the Warriors are a hurdle they can't hope to overcome. The pressure is real, and the Cavaliers failed to meet the James King's standards.
In response, the Cavaliers decided to strengthen the roster with trusted veterans such as Ross and Wade. While fans are happy to see reuniting with his former Heat teammates, things haven't developed as much as they hoped. The Cavaliers had a record of just 31-22 before the 2018 deadline, and this team obviously didn’t work. Wade scored 11.2 points in his career lowest. Meanwhile, Ross averaged just 9.8 points and 1.6 assists in just 16 games, shooting just 43.9% from the field. In the end, the Cavaliers left Wade and Rose after just half a season. In a series of moves, General Manager Ultraman Kobe traded the two of them (along with Isaiah Thomas, Jay Claude, Channing Fry and Eman Champet), bringing in George Hill, Rodney Hood, Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance Jr. Cleveland won 50 games in the East before heading into the Finals that year and losing to the Warriors 4-0.
With the second consecutive defeat in the finals, James chose to try his luck in Los Angeles, and the rest is history. He never worked with Wade again, and Ross would jump to a different team before retiring. Although the James, Wade and Ross trio received collective praise, they didn’t work for a number of reasons. Between poor pitches, unstable games and poor defensive performances (they ranked 30th in 29 games in this regard), they were never really contenders that year, which is probably why this experiment didn’t even last a full season.
While Tyron Lu believes Wade and Rose can make an impact, he doesn't have enough time to complete it, we never know if the Cavaliers will be able to recover from a tough start.
