27-year-old England striker Tammy Abraham has arrived in Istanbul to complete his transfer from Roma to Besiktas. “I’m so happy to be here and be proud to wear this jersey.”
On Tuesday afternoon local time, Abraham had already flew to Türkiye to undergo a medical examination with his new owner Besiktas. Abraham told Besiktas' official social media channel on arrival: "It's been a very long trip, but I'm so happy to be here."
"I've been in Turkey recently, and although not Istanbul, I saw how beautiful and magical this country is. It's great to finally come to Istanbul and finally put on the famous jersey I saw on TV. I'm very proud. It's a beautiful jersey, and I can't wait to put it in front of the fans and score my first goal."
According to Italian media, Abraham's loan fee is 2 million euros, and Besiktas has to pay another 13 million to buy out its ownership at the end of the season, plus a 2 million surcharge. This is much lower than Rome’s initial 20 million asking price, but they are eager to close the deal by June 30 to avoid penalties for fair fiscal competition.
Abraham was loaned to AC Milan in 2024-25, playing 45 times for the Ross and Blacks and scoring 10 goals, but Milan did not choose to buy out its ownership.
Abraham transferred to Roma from Chelsea for 41 million euros in 2021, won the UEFA Cup for Roma in 2022, and followed AC Milan to win the Italian Super Cup in January this year.
On Wednesday, July 2, local time, Premier League club Burnley officially announced that it would introduce 21-year-old French right winger Rum Shauna from Lazio.
His new boss Burnley said in a statement that he was happy to announce that French U21 winger Rum Shauna joined from Lazio, but did not disclose the transfer fee. "The 21-year-old striker has signed a five-year contract and has come to East Lancashire with his 130-game experience in Serie A, Ligue 1 and Ligue 2."
According to Sky Sports in Italy, the 21-year-old Shauna transferred to Burnley for 14 million euros, plus a surcharge of 3 million yuan. The transfer fee given by the German transfer market website is 15.15 million.
Sauna joined Lazio from Sarenitana for 8.45 million euros last summer, playing for only one year with the Blue Eagles, making a total of 37 appearances in the 2024-25 season, contributing 2 goals and 1 assist. The Blue Eagles thanked the French winger for his "professionalism" and wished him all the best in the new "Premier Adventure".
After signing with Burnley, Shauna said: "It is a very proud day for me to sign with this special club. I can't wait to prepare for the upcoming season and play in front of fans."
Shauna made nine appearances for the French U21 team and scored a goal. He signed with his new boss Burnley until 2029.
Udinese Club officially announced that they have renewed their contract with head coach Costa Renjaic until June 2027 after their first season of coaching the first team.
54-year-old Renjaic was unexpectedly appointed as the first team head coach by Udinese last summer, when he was relatively unknown. Renjaici's previous coaching experience was in Darmstadt, Duisburg MSV, Kaiserslautern, Munich 1860, Szczecin Pogon and Warsaw Legia.
However, Renjaic performed strongly at the start of the coach of Udinese, achieving a record of 12 wins, 8 draws and 18 losses in his first season in Serie A, easily bringing Wuji to the mid-level position in the Serie A standings.
In fact, Udinese's form was much better at the beginning of the season, with the team winning only one game in the last 11 rounds, but that was after having secured relegation. Therefore, the Friuli club decided to extend the contract with Renjaic, who has German, Austrian and Serbian nationalities. A statement from the
club confirmed that the contract between Renjaic's assistant coach Puzemisla Maletsky and Alex Truka has also been extended to June 2027.
Serie A newly promoted Cremonese Club officially announced that former Cagliari coach David Nicola would be their new head coach, and the two sides will sign until June 30, 2027.
"Nicola is known for giving his team a clear tactical identity, along with his strong motivational abilities and outstanding personal qualities, and he represents the ideal image of leading the Red and Grey Legion with experience and expertise in the challenging Serie A future. Both the club and the team welcome the new manager and wish him a smooth job."
Although Cagliari secured a successful stay in Serie A in the 2024-25 season, they fired Nicola a few weeks ago. Now, Nicola will take over the newly promoted Mark Cremonese, and his goal is to succeed in relegation in the Serie A.
