Can Wilz break the curse of German players in the Premier League?

Liverpool spent more than 100 million pounds to sign German talent attacker Florian Werz from Leverkusen in the Bundesliga. This deal immediately reminds many people of the situation when Chelsea signed Kay Havertz a few years ago, which is really similar.
You see, both were the best young geniuses in Germany at that time, and were both chased by giants in Europe. In the end, they both transferred from Leverkusen to the Premier League with record value.
This raises a very interesting question: Why are many people's development not very smooth after these German genius attackers who played well in the Bundesliga when they reached the faster pace and more intense Premier League? Can Wilz break this "curse"?
Let's review that Havertz's overall performance at Chelsea, except for the key goal in the Champions League final, did not fully meet people's expectations. Werner is the same problem at Chelsea. Going further forward, Sane, Ozil, and Podolsky are more or less "unacceptable to the local environment".
Of course, there are also successful examples, such as Gundogan, Barack, and Harman, who have all achieved success in the Premier League. So, what is the difference?
Former Liverpool celebrity, German Dietmar Harman, said his point of view. He believes that the key lies not entirely in the players' personal abilities, but also in the "playing style" of the club they signed and whether the head coach will use them.
Looking at Wilz and Havertz, their styles are also different. Havertz is more elegant, paying more attention to technology and utilization of space. As for Wiltz, his ball-holding and dribbling ability is stronger and more energetic. Liverpool Club definitely believes that Wilz's playing style will be easier to adapt to the rhythm of the Premier League than Havertz.
So, this is a huge investment and a "gambling" for Liverpool. They hope that Wiltz can become a signing that can change the team like Alison and Van Dijk before, rather than being in poor results like Nunez. We will wait and see whether Wilz can succeed in the Premier League in the end.
