reported on July 3 that Chelsea goalkeeper Petrovic is close to transfer to Sunderland.
Previously, the goalkeeper took the initiative to not participate in the Club World Cup with Chelsea to focus on his own future, and he hoped to get a goal in other teams.
Over the past week, Sunderland has been actively strengthening the transfer market. Petrovic is regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in the transfer market at present, and he has experience in playing in the Premier League.
Petrovic was loaned to Strasbourg in the 24-25 season, who intends to sign the goalkeeper in the form of a permanent transfer, but Sunderland quickly takes action on the deal, with the expected transfer fee of about £25 million.
The contract between 25-year-old Petrovic and Chelsea was in June 2030. The player played 31 games in the 24-25 season, conceded 38 goals in 10 games, and the Germans turned 20 million euros.
