The first advice I want to give is to start coaching from the youth academy. Because I have seen too many coaches start coaching at too high a level when they are not ready. For example, Pirlo was not ready when he coached Juventus. When coaching in youth training, you will encounter all the difficulties, starting with the parents of the young players. They are the first problem, because parents usually think that their children are talented players. I would even suggest building a movie theater near the stadium to allow these parents to watch movies (without affecting training).

Nowadays, the football world has changed a lot. In the past, every child could play football, but today the tuition for football schools is as high as 1,000 euros.

In Italy, everyone now pays attention to tactical training, but ignores technical training. The results of the national team speak for themselves. My advice to parents is if your kids are 11 or 2 years old and a coach starts teaching them tactics, that coach should be fired.

Looking back on your coaching career, which player impressed you the most?

Riva and Batistuta impressed me the most because of their shooting style. It would be great if we could have such strikers now! Batistuta doesn't dribble past people, but when he receives the ball in the air, he predicts that he can score before he touches the ball.

The first is Cassano. I feel very sorry to see him like that. Because in some ways, he is even better than Totti.
