Liverpool plans to sign £150 million in star value before the start of next season

It is reported that Liverpool is willing to slowly pursue Newcastle star Alexander Isaac instead of rushing to achieve success. The Reds are said to want to sign the striker this summer and know that signing him will require a record offer.
According to Echo, Isaac is Liverpool's new target and they will continue their summer signing frenzy. They believe the striker is willing to join them, but it takes time. Anfield’s plan is to postpone the offer as much as possible, as this will prompt Newcastle United to think faster.
With Witz coming from Leverkusen, the Reds broke the Premier League transfer record this season. They were told that they needed to break it again to have a chance to land in Isaac.
Earlier this summer, football commentator Jamie O'Hara urged Arn Slott's team to sign the striker. He said (via Liverpool official website):
"100% Newcastle will pay him a huge transfer fee because he is one of the most sought after players in Europe. You have seen his performance in the Premier League, you know he can play in the Premier League, there is no risk, there is always risk, but overall, if he signs with Liverpool, you know he will perform well. As for Newcastle, they have to buy as much money as possible for him, and if so, it won't be less than £120 million."
Newcastle United reportedly offered a offer of about £200 million to scare away clubs interested in signing the striker. They are seeking to extend his contract, but there are reports of £150 million to test the waters.
Liverpool eager to sign Premier League stars as Isaac's replacement
Former Liverpool striker Robbie Fowler admits that Newcastle stars may be too expensive for Liverpool. He believes that the ideal signing is Oli Watkins. He told iPaper:
"If you don't sign a player, you're likely to go backwards. Maybe (Darwin) Nunez's name will appear on the rosters of some teams because he's not playing the game he wants, so you think Liverpool will try to bring a No. 9. The problem is that the club knows they might be looking for a No. 9, so the price will be stupid.
"If you look at Alexander Isaac, his net worth will easily exceed £100 million. He is a great player, but Liverpool may not want to pay that much and they will look around. You can check out Oly Watkins. Given his age (29), he doesn't really fit the model Liverpool wants, but I'll go sign him for a few years because he's an excellent player who has established himself in the Premier League and is experienced. ”
Liverpool spent less than £200 million this summer to sign Milos Kerkez, Florian Werz and Jeremy Flynnon.
