Mirror: Crystal Palace wants 30 million pounds + loan Gomez to sell Guy, Liverpool clearly refuses

Hupu, August 31, According to the report of the English media Mirror, Liverpool refused any official offer from Crystal Palace to loan Joe Gomez, as the leader of the Reds' signing of England international Guy.

Crystal Palace has explored the possibility of loaning Gomez to help Liverpool successfully acquire Gerch. However, the Premier League champion currently has no intention of allowing Gomez to temporarily go to Selhurst Park.

It is understood that Crystal Palace will seriously consider accepting a offer of about £30 million and renting Gomez. But sources said Liverpool will not consider any loan proposals from Gomez this month.

Crystal Palace captain Gerch made it clear that he did not intend to sign a new contract at Selhurst Park.

Although Crystal Palace head coach Glasner publicly stated that he wanted to stay Gerch, the club was unwilling to let the 25-year-old leave on a free transfer when his contract expires next summer. Last year, they rejected a £65 million deal to sell Gerch to Newcastle.

They are trying to sign two centre-backs before the transfer window is closed, which may unlock the transfer of Guy's joining Liverpool.

Crystal Palace is interested in Toulouse's 19-year-old Jady Canwater, and the transfer negotiations about the potential centre-back are in the late stages. They are also looking for an experienced centre-back and have been in contact with Manchester City defender Akanji, but the Swiss international is said to be reserved for the transfer.

Portuguese sports defender Diormande has been the top target for Crystal Palace, but so far they can't afford the Ivory Coast international. It is understood that Rome's Endica is another defender interested in the Crystal Palace.

Glasner said in a speech on Friday that Guy "must" become a Crystal Palace player when the window is closed.
