Hupu September 26th News Christian Falk, editor-in-chief of the Photo News, recorded the latest episode of the podcast "Bayern Insider".

After Jackson's deal nearly failed, Bayern had to quickly find an alternative - and on the transfer deadline, they targeted an English superstar: 30-year-old Raheem Sterling.

Associate Editor-in-Chief Tobias Altschäffl revealed in the podcast:

"Bayern had to try many ways because - as Max Eber said after the game at Augsburg - Jackson's matter is over and has collapsed. They have to explore many options.

Sterling and Jackson have something in common: he also has no chance at all at Chelsea, sometimes training alone, sometimes only with the reserve team."

One thing is for sure: under the leadership of Chelsea coach Enzo Maresca (45 years old), Sterling has no prospects for development. The attacking player has joined Chelsea since 2022 when he transferred from Manchester City for €56 million.

Sterling had withdrawn from Chelsea's lineup last season and was loaned to Arsenal. Disappointing results: Only one goal was scored in 28 games. In the summer, Sterling returned to Stamford Bridge – but had no chance to play.

"But in fact, Sterling himself could not imagine the transfer."

Jackson and his agent eventually stayed in Munich and finally completed the transfer shortly before the transfer window closed.
