TA: Trosad signs new contract with Arsenal, raises salary but does not extend the contract

Hupu, August 20th According to TheAthletic, Trosad reached an agreement with the club on contract adjustments. His salary has been increased, but the contract term has not been extended and will still expire in 2027.

The Belgian international has been negotiating with the club on salary increase for some time, and both sides hope that the player's salary will match his important role in the lineup.

Trosad joined Arsenal from Brighton in January 2023 for a transfer fee of £27 million (US$36.1 million). In his two and a half seasons at Arsenal, he has gradually established himself as a key position and all-rounder in the Arteta roster.

He has made 124 appearances for the North London team, scored 28 goals and sent 23 assists, and is competent for both wings, forwards and midfield positions.

Trosad suffered a groin injury in the game where Arsenal lost to Tottenham Hotspur in Hong Kong preseason on July 31 and has not returned to the court yet.
