The top 8 of the U17 World Cup are announced: Japan eliminated North Korea in a penalty shootout and became the only seedling in Asia. England was eliminated 0-4.

On November 19, all eight games of the U17 World Cup 1/8 finals ended, and the top eight of this U17 World Cup were officially announced.

Among the three Asian teams that made it to the top 16, Japan and North Korea ushered in the "East Asian Derby" in the 1/8 finals.
