Hupu, August 20th, according to World Sports, Barcelona club players wore training suits with the Congo sponsorship logo for the first time during Tuesday's training.
On July 30, Barcelona Club officially announced an agreement with the Congo (DPRK), and the cooperation will continue until the 2028-29 season. During this period, the team promised to print the country's name behind the training suit. In return, Barcelona will earn a total of €44 million, with an average of €11 million per season. The injection of funds will help Barcelona cope with La Liga's fiscal fair game requirements.
In addition to the first team, the "RDCongo-Heart of Africa" logo will also be printed on the back of the training suits of other professional teams in Barcelona. Last month, Monaco Club and AC Milan also announced a sponsorship agreement with Congo, but did not disclose the specific amount.
The cooperation will also involve the future Espai Barça project, with the "DRC House" set up in the new Spotify Camp Nou facility. The pavilion will display the “DRC’s rich and diverse cultural and sporting heritage” through an interactive exhibition, aiming to strengthen ties with this African country.
In addition, through Barça Academies, the club will create and implement a sports program including training camps and training classes for children in the region to promote structured and inclusive development in key areas such as football, basketball, handball, indoor futsal and roller skating hockey.
