June 14th News After nearly ten years of brewing, Infantino's great idea "The Large Club World Cup" has finally arrived. TA made a ranking for the top 32 of the Club World Cup and used 5 indicators to measure the team. The rankings are not based solely on the performance of each team on the court, TA said. In addition to measuring on-field performance, they also hope to compare the global image and financial strength of each club.
TA's five indicators:
1, opta strength ranking
2, cumulative transfer expenditure in the past five years
3, average number of spectators in home games last season
4, total number of social media fans
5, Intercontinental champion: number of Champions League and champions of the same level
TA ranks each club from 1 to 32 according to each category, and then divides it by 5 to get points. Therefore, the lower the score, the higher the ranking. However, TA applied different weights to some of these categories, putting more emphasis on Opta's ratings (as it will evaluate the team's recent performance) and slightly lowered the importance of metric 5. Intercontinental championships are important, but given the strength of different continental football associations, it is difficult to judge by the same standards.
The following are the specific rankings: (reverse order)
