TA: Kamavenga will miss this round of La Liga due to injury, Bellingham and Enderick are also missing

September 12th TA reported that Real Madrid midfielder Kamavenga is expected to be unable to play in this round of La Liga match against Real Sociedad.

Camavinga sprained his right ankle ten days before the start of the league and has not yet played this season. Real Madrid originally planned to let Camavinga come back after the international match, but the recovery process has been delayed. He has not completed any joint training with other members of the team so far.

Club does not want to take any risks when dealing with the French international, who had previously missed the Club World Cup due to a torn adductor muscle and missed the last six games of Real Madrid's 2024-25 season, which means he has not yet appeared under new head coach Xavi Alonso.

Last season, injuries limited Kamavenga's appearances to 35 games in all competitions. He was out for about seven weeks early in the season with a sprained left knee ligament. Then between November and December, he suffered a hamstring injury in the Champions League match against Liverpool and was out for more than two weeks. Then between January and February, another hamstring problem left him with another three weeks off.

Other wounded players in Real Madrid, Bellingham, Enderick and Ferran Mendy, were also unable to play. Like Camavenga, Bellingham has been partly involved in the team's joint practice this week and hopes to return this month after undergoing shoulder surgery in July, but the club is more inclined to wait until October.
