Official: Palermo defender Lund joins Cologne on loan for one season

August 5th, August local time, the newly promoted Bundesliga Cologne officially announced that it would sign defender Christopher Lund from Palermo on loan.
Cologne official said that the club strengthened its position on the left side as planned, and the 23-year-old Lund joined on loan until the end of the season.
Regarding joining Cologne, Lund himself said: "When I heard about this offer, I immediately learned more carefully about Cologne - a club with history and tradition and an excellent fan base. In addition, I had a very good exchange with the club leader. Moreover, Cologne played in the Bundesliga, which is also one of the top leagues in Europe. I am ready for this and hope to prove myself here."
Lund joined Palermo in 2023, and contributed 1 goal in total 35 games last season.
