Sky: Fulham offer coach Marco Silva long-term contract extension

1:44pm, 18 November 2025Football

On November 18, according to the British media "Sky Sports", Fulham offered coach Marco Silva a long-term contract extension.

Marco Silva held talks with club owner Shahid Khan during this international break and later received a long-term contract extension. The contract length is believed to be up to three years. The club still hopes to extend his contract for more than five years, with his current contract expiring next summer.

While playing for Fulham, Marco Silva attracted interest from many clubs, the latest being Nottingham Forest, but he has always remained loyal, even in the face of high offers from Saudi Arabia.

Marco Silva was not satisfied with the club's summer transfer policy and publicly stated many times that the club lacked action. It was not until the last few days before the transfer window closed that he signed wingers Kevin Santos and Chukwueze, but did not sign the midfielder he wanted.

Since Fulham was promoted to the Premier League in 2022, Marco Silva has been leading the team to display extraordinary strength. Last season, he scored a club-record 54 points in the Premier League. They finished 11th, having finished 13th and 10th in the previous two seasons, all while losing the likes of Mitrovic, Adarabioyo and Palinha.
