May 9th Sky Sports reported that Chelsea and Manchester United have been tracking the growth trends of Barcelona star Juan Hernandez Torres this season.
As the Spanish U19 international will turn 18 in July, the two clubs are considering whether to activate the 5 million pounds (6 million euros) termination clause in their contract this summer.
This attacking midfielder is a core member of Barcelona's U19 youth Champions League this season, scoring two goals, including the winning goal against Alkmaar in the semi-finals.
Chelsea and Manchester United both pursue a strategy of attracting top global rookies, and the Blues' plan for Hernandez Torres may include loaning him to affiliated club Strasbourg.
