September 8th, Israeli forward Solomon was interviewed before Israel's World Cup qualifiers against Italy.
The Italian national team changed coaches before, and the new coach Gattuso defeated Estonia 5-0 in his first game since taking office. In response, Solomon said: "Italy is now working with different coaches, and we will make corresponding adjustments to deal with all possible situations."
In the UEFA League match last September, Israel lost 1-2 to Italy at home (the match was scheduled to be held in Hungary due to security issues). Solomon went on to say, "In the match against Italy last September, we have proved that we are in some ways enough to compete with Italy. If we do better than that game, I think we can get a good result in tomorrow's game."
Finally, Solomon said, "Of course, we have to respect Italy, but we are confident in ourselves and have no fear of challenges because we have the ability to perform well."
