Hupu reported on October 12th that "Bild" reported that Benjamin Sommer, the new director of Bayern's rehabilitation department, added a new equipment called "Sprint2" worth 18,000 euros to the rehabilitation training.
With this machine, players can complete running and sprint training with precisely adjusted resistance - all movements are digitally controlled and analyzed directly, with data monitored in real time via an iPad. Sommer is a frequent presence on the training ground and personally oversees all rehabilitation sessions to ensure injured players recover well and improve their physical condition.
