The top eight after half this season are: Bayern, Arsenal, Inter Milan, Manchester City, Paris, Newcastle, Real Madrid, and Liverpool.
In last season, only 4 of the top 8 teams after the halfway stage of the Champions League advanced to the knockout rounds, and 4 teams were squeezed out of the pass zone. Although this is related to the team's strength and schedule, it also serves as a reminder to the top 8 this season that they cannot be careless.
