May 1 Atletico Madrid striker Alvarez was named the club's Player of April for his outstanding performance. In an interview with the official media of the Bedding Legion, he talked about his performance in the season and some other topics.
Regarding my performance at Atletico Madrid in the season, I learned a lot, grew a lot, the coaching team and teammates gave a lot of help, and the people in the club have done a lot of very good things in seven or eight months. Now, we must try our best to strive for a higher ranking in La Liga.
About the Club World Cup
This is a very good event. We still have to have a good ranking in La Liga, and then we have to consider preparing for the Club World Cup in the best way. It's an important event and we have to be ready to go through a really great event.
Regarding the match against Alaves, we know what each game looks like, and it's very difficult, especially in the last few games of the season. Most importantly, we need to consider the last 5 games, achieve good results through these games, and strive to get 3 points in each game to get a higher ranking.
About the message to fans
I would like to thank the fans for their care and thank you for your help in my time at the club. I hope to tell them that I will be on the court as always, and try to get the team to the top as I did from day one.
Regarding being named the team Player of the Month
Obviously, I am very happy. The most important thing is always collective, but individuals can bring pride to their own awards. So, I am very happy and very grateful to everyone.
