August 14th According to German media bulinews, citing South Korean journalist HanJune, Mainz and Bremen are interested in South Korean international Xue Yingyou.
In the Champions League qualifying match between Red Star Belgrade and Poznan Lech, Bremen visited Xue Yingyou. Other clubs sent to scouts were Bruges, Monaco, Rennes and Groningen. These six clubs, plus Sheffield United, are all interested in the South Korean international fullback.
Sheffield United seems to have taken the lead because they contacted Belgrade Red Star last week and issued an initial offer of 3 million euros, while Red Star priced the players at least 5.5 million euros. Between Mainz and Bremen, Bremen seems to be more interested, and they think Xue Yingyou is the full-back candidate they need.
Xue Yingyou joined Belgrade Red Star from Ulsan HD in 2024. He has played 26 times for the South Korean national team.
