UEFA issued a notice on September 11, confirming that clubs are allowed to replace a non-goalkeeper player on the registered list before the 6th round of the UEFA Europa League.
UEFA official wrote: "The UEFA Executive Committee has approved the modification of the UEFA Men's Club Tournament Procedures for the 2025/26 season, allowing for temporary replacement of up to one non-goalkeeper player due to long-term injuries or illnesses before the 6th round of the league stage (inclusive). "
"This adjustment is intended to ensure that the team's roster does not shrink unfairly due to injuries, and also protect players from the risks brought by additional game load."
