Harman: Leverkusen remains Bayern s number one competitor; Leipzig is better than Frankfurt

Hupu September 21st reported that at the beginning of the new Bundesliga season, Bayern Munich showed strong dominance. The team maintained a complete victory in the first four rounds, scoring 18 goals and conceding only 3 goals, once again demonstrating its ambition to defend its title.

In addition to Bayern, Dortmund and Leipzig have also recovered recently. Leipzig won three consecutive games after losing to Bayern in the first round, and Dortmund also completed three consecutive league wins. Meanwhile, Frankfurt performed amazingly against Galatasaray in the Champions League, but lost to Berlin United on the weekend, cooling the outside world's evaluation of its Bayern challenger.

In the German Sky Sports program, former German international and commentator Harman gave his own judgment. He believes that despite losing several core players including Werz, Tat and Zaka, Leverkusen is still the team that is most likely to pose a threat to Bayern: "In my opinion, Bayern's number one competitor is still Leverkusen throughout the season."

Regarding Frankfurt's previous statement that he was regarded as a Bayern chaser, Harman said: "Two weeks ago, people were talking about Frankfurt as the number one challenger, but I think Leipzig is stronger."

It can be seen that in Harman's heart, Leverkusen is still the biggest resistance on Bayern's road to defending the title, followed by Leipzig, while Frankfurt is slightly inferior.
